Boys Day Out Christchurch

Boys Day Out Christchurch is going to be so much bigger this year they’ve had to move to the Powerbuilt Tools Raceway at Ruapuna.

More Space -More Parking -More Motorsports - More of Everything.

Boys Day Out will be filled with Big Boys Toys, Monster Trucks, Hot Cars, Hot Bikes, Paintball, Live Bands, Gamer Lounge, Helicopters, Tui Beer Garden the BDO Bikini Comp and virtually every testosterone charged activity a man can shake his fists at.

Boys Days Out will also be hosting Drifting, Drags, Burnouts, FMX Motocross, Skateboarding, BMX Freestyle, Strongman, Cage fighting and Kickboxing and martial art displays.

If you went to Boys Day Out last year just wait till you see what they’re putting on for you you’ll be blown away and this year we’re doing it over 2 days.

Mizuno Half Marathons

August 1st

Runners and walkers will take part in New Zealand’s largest and most scenic stand-alone half marathon on the shores of Lake Taupo. The Mizuno Half Marathon will take place on August 1st – the popularity of the event is also due to its non-competitive nature and its suitability for first-time walkers and runners.

The scenic out-and-back 21.1 kilometre course on the shores of Lake Taupo caters for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities and all finishers go in to win a range of fantastic prizes.

The MIzuno Half Marathon is a non-commercial event with all proceeds going to support local charities.

Entry costs $50 for seniors (aged 20 and over); and $35 for juniors (aged 19 and under) - there is an additional $5 charge for non online entries.



September 5th

The Mizuno Off-Road Half Marathon (September 5) provide stunning views of Lake Taupo throughout the 21.1 kilometre course which is suitable for first-time off-road runners or more experienced ‘mountain goats’

It will be run on stages of the ‘W2K’ track, starting in Kinloch heading towards Whakaipo Bay before taking in the ‘Headland Track’ loop.

Online entries cost $50 for seniors (aged 20 and over); and $35 for juniors (aged 19 and under

If you’re not quite up to a half marathon, give the Quarter Marathon a go – just over 10kms of flat bushland, The Kinloch Quarter Marathon costs $40 online for senior & $25 for juniors.

All finishers go in to win a range of fantastic prizes.
