The Wellington School of Cricket and Whitireia Polytechnic have entered into an exciting joint venture involving the securing of international students to study at Whitireia and also complete a two-year cricket education module with the Wellington School of Cricket.
The first intake of four Sri Lankan international students arrives in Wellington between February and June. The first intakes of international students are aged 18-21 and Cricket Wellington is hopeful in year two of extending the programme to involve secondary school aged players.
