Football : This week at Arsenal

On the pitch…
Arsenal extended their unbeaten run to 10 matches - but dropped four Premier League points - with a 1-1 draw at Everton and a 0-0 draw against West Ham. Robin van Persie's superb equaliser rescued a point at Goodison Park and completed an incredible run for the Dutchman - he scored or assisted every Arsenal goal in January. Abou Diaby collected his fifth booking of the season against the Hammers and will miss the North London derby. Elsewhere, the Under-18s strolled into the Youth Cup Quarter-Finals with a 4-0 win at Sunderland.

Off the pitch…
Arsenal emerged from a busy transfer deadline day with a new signing - Russian playmaker Andrey Arshavin. There was mixed injury news for Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky and Mikael Silvestre while Eduardo moved closer to a first-team return with an international call-up. Henri Lansbury, Rui Fonte and Paul Rodgers all started or extended loan deals while Ladies star Karen Carney agreed to join Chicago Red Stars. And our FA Cup replay with Cardiff was postponed after Emirates Stadium was hit by heavy snowfall.
