A new Hi-Tec golf shoe range, treated with P2i’s revolutionary ion-mask super-hydrophobic technology, has scooped a prestigious innovation award in Spain –the range’s second European award-win in two months.
The Altitude Ultra WPi golf range was awarded the prestigious accolade at the Muy Interesante Awards, hosted by the leading general interest and science magazine of the same name. With more than 3 million readers across Spain and Portugal, the magazine created this highly regarded award to acknowledge Brands that lead industry through research, development and innovation.
The ion-mask™ Hi-Tec shoe fought off stiff competition from a multitude of leading Brands including Adidas and Tissot for its enhanced performance capabilities. The shoe offers water repellency up to three times that of PTFE – currently regarded as the most water repellent material in the world, while also maintaining breathability for good air circulation and the prevention of blisters. Ion mask™ also protects the shoe externally, offering greater resistance to scuffs and stains.

The range will be launched in May 2009.
