WHITE FERNS CAPTAIN AND STRIKE BOWLER TO MISS SECOND ICC WOMEN'S WORLD CUP MATCH

White Ferns captain Haidee Tiffen [ Quadricep strain ] and strike bowler Kate Pulford [shoulder strain] will miss tomorrow's match against The West Indies at The 2009 ICC WOMEN'S WORLD CUP in Australia.

The duo sustained niggles in their 13 run victory over defending champions Australia yesterday.

Both were significant contributors to The White Ferns win, Haidee Tiffen making 57 with the bat and Kate Pulford took 3/32 in an outstanding display of fast bowling which earn't her the player of the match award.

The second ICC WOMEN'S WORLD CUP for the New Zealanders will be played at The Bankstown Oval starting 10-00am local time Tuesday March 10th

Aimee Mason will captain the White Ferns side with Lucy Doolan and Katey Martin coming into the playing eleven, a straight swap for openers, Tiffen and Pulford, Abby Burrows makes way for all rounder Beth McNeill in the playing eleven.
