Kiwis Capture Doubles

Dan King-Turner and GD Jones won their second doubles final of the US$15,000 ASB Pro Circuit tennis Futures with a 6-2 6-4 over fellow Kiwi Marcus Daniell and Australian Joel Lindner in horrendous conditions at the Renouf Tennis Centre in Wellington where tree branches were being blown down.



King-Turner and Jones also won the doubles title at the North Harbour Futures two weeks ago.



The women’s final was won by the Japanese and Korea combination of So-Jung Kim and Ayaka Maekawa in straight sets.



Men’s doubles final result:

(2)Dan King-Turner/GD Jones(New Zealand) bt Marcus Daniell(New Zealand)/Joel Lindner(Australia) 6-2 6-4.

Women’s doubles final result:

So-Jung Kim(Korea)/Ayaka Maekawa(Japan) bt Kyung-Yee Chae(Korea)/Hae-Sung Kim(Korea) 6-4 6-4.
