State Championship Final: umpires and match details

Bowden confirmed as umpire for State Championship Final

New Zealand Cricket confirmed today that Emirates Elite Panel umpire Billy Bowden will umpire in the State Championship Final next week, alongside Chris Gaffaney.

The conclusion of the 2008-09 State Championship competition will see the State Auckland Aces face the State Central Stags in a five-day match from Monday 6 April to Friday 10 April, at the Bert Sutcliffe Oval, Lincoln (near Christchurch).

Auckland finished top of the State Championship table after the eight competition rounds, and only require a draw to lift the 2008-09 Trophy.

Play is scheduled to start daily at 10.30am. Live scoring, ball-by-ball radio commentary and video highlights will be available on the New Zealand Cricket website.
