The Club is keen to establish a Twilight Cricket competition. Some of you will also have seen the attached advert in yesterday’s Courier.
This is a social competition – with the emphasis very much on the “social”. It is aimed at past players, business houses, University staff and students, parents of junior teams and their workmates – in fact anyone who wants to roll the arm over, have a lash and then talk it up at the bar, all without taking up a single second of your precious weekend.
The competition will run on 6 consecutive Tuesday evenings at Colin Maiden Park from February 17th. Games will start at 6pm and, at 14 overs per side, should finish around 8pm when the bar will be open for food and refreshments.
Teams are 8-a-side and all gear is provided by the Club. The team entry fee is $480.
