Staged at Karon Stadium next to Phuket's beautiful Karon Beach, the Phuket International Cricket Sixes has to be one of the most exotic locations in the world to play cricket. Winner of a global award from the International Cricket Council in 2006 the tournament annually attracts up to 28 cricket teams plus officials and supporters from all around the world to enjoy 'Fun in the Sun' where the spirit, camaraderie and off field hospitality are as keen as the on field action. Star players who have competed at the event include Adam Hollioake, Trevor Chappell, Pranab Roy, Atul Wassan, Kenny Jackson and Alan Mullally. Now in it's sixth year the Phuket Sixes generates funds for local cricket development and charities and is a premier event on the Asian Cricket Sixes Tour calendar.
