VALE BOB SULLIVAN

The North Sydney District Rugby League Football Club offer condolences to friends and family of the great Bob Sullivan, who passed away this morning.

Bob was an outstanding servant of the game of Rugby League and North Sydney.

He played 185 games for the Bears from 1948-59, 120 of them in first grade scoring 44 tries and 4 goals, and was captain coach of the 1959 reserve grade premiership winning team.

He represented both NSW and Australia, and was an active administrator for both the NSWRL and North Sydney for many years, culminating in a term as President of the NSDRLFC from 1987-89, and was a life member and patron of the club to this day.
