JOSH KRONFELD TO GRACE CARISBROOK ONCE AGAIN WITH FANCY FOOTWORK

Having run out onto Carisbrook close to 50 times whilst playing for his club, Otago, The Highlanders or The All Blacks, Josh Kronfeld returns to Dunedin this weekend to display a different style of footwork when he performs a dancing demonstration with Rachel Burstein prior to a Highlanders game to raise funds for Koru Care Otago.

Josh is excited by the challenge and looking forward to dancing on Saturday. “There have been many enjoyable times for me on Carisbrook, and dancing here will be another memorable occasion. I am really enjoying the dancing at the moment, and to be able to do it to raise funds for Koru Care Otago is makes it even more special.”

An 18m x 9m stage will be set up on the sidelines by the Carisbrook terraces with Josh and Rachel performing at approximately 5:15 pm. For those coming to the ground, the terraces will be opened up in order to allow those sitting in the stands to make their way closer to the stage to get a view of the performance should they want to.

Josh is currently dancing in the TVNZ show, Dancing With The Stars with Rachel Burstein.

Koru Care Otago is a registered charitable trust that has been set up to make dreams come true for children with different illnesses and / or disabilities. They achieve this by raising funds to take children to theme parks on the Gold Coast in Australia. The fundraising covers all aspects of the trip, including all accommodation, meals, entry fees, airfares, medical care and 24 hour caregivers
