Nemanja Vidic says the presence of four Barclays Premier League sides in the Champions League draw confirms English football's top-dog status.
United are joined in the quarter-finals by Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal for the second year running, with Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Porto and Villarreal taking up the other places in Europe's elite eight.
Serbian defender Vidic is proud to be part of what he describes as 'the best league in the world' and after scoring a crucial goal against Internazionale in the last 16 round, he's determined to help at least one English team reach the Rome final.
"The English sides' performances [in Europe] have shown yet again that the Premier League is the best league in the world," Vidic told Red View.
"To have all four in the quarter-finals again is a big achievement for English football. There's a strong possibility we will play one of the other three in the Champions League, and it will be difficult because they are all top teams.
"It's the small details that will decide who goes through to the next round and we therefore need to give our best against whichever side we play."
