Crusaders player Owen Franks will appear before a SANZAR Judicial Officer after being cited for an incident in last night’s Rebel Sport Super 14 match between the Crusaders and Western Force at AMI Stadium, Christchurch.
Franks was cited by Citing Commissioner Jim Meates for a dangerous tackle / charge on Western Force player Matt Giteau in the 78th minute of the match.
He will appear before SANZAR Judicial Officer Nigel Hampton QC at the CRFU offices in Christchurch tomorrow, Monday 16 March, with the hearing due to start at 3pm.
