Replacement players in State Championship

A number of replacements have been made in the current round of the State Championship and this has affected the information on our scorecards. Our scorers have made scorecard notes to clarify this.

OTAGO VOLTS vs AUCKLAND ACES – State Championship match

13 March 2009, Events Centre, Queenstown (4-Day)

Scorecard Note –

Days 3 & 4: JA Raval replaces TG McIntosh, LJ Shaw replaces CS Martin, and MD Bates becomes 12th man (Auckland)

* Lance Shaw replaced Chris Martin and took three for 49 for Auckland as they bowled out Otago to win the match. This is listed on the scorecard as CS Martin because we were unable to change the name in our live scoring system.

CENTRAL STAGS vs WELLINGTON FIREBIRDS – State Championship match

13 March 2009, McLean Park, Napier (4-Day)

Scorecard Note –

Day 4: JEC Franklin retired on 107 at stumps on Day 3 to join the Blackcaps in Hamilton.HKP Boam replaced him at crease and will take full part in match on Day 4.

* Harry Boam replaced James Franklin for Wellington on day four and continued batting in his place. Franklin retired on 107 at the end of day three with Boam adding 49 this morning. The scorecard will show that Franklin finished the innings on 156 but this total represents both batsmen.
